When I was a young girl, I went to my first auction. It was a elder women that had passed away. I remember that day like yesterday. I was so fascinated with all her old things of linens, quilts, a piano, & most of all was her old photographs. I could not resist to take one photograph that looked as if it was taken in the late 1800's of a women & a man. I wondered who they were and what they did. I held on to that picture till my early 20's.
As I grew up, I found a passion in old, vintage items. I just love the look, I guess that is how I got into the Shabby Cottage decor. I love anything that is feminine and pretty.
